1. His room had been in the same mess for 25 years! Monsters live in the wardrobe and pixies live on the shelves behind the toys.

2. He thinks mint chocolate is yummy.

3. He owns at least four silly hats.

4. He has a pet alligator that also lives in his room and that sends me silly e-mails. (This is extra silly as the pixies and the monsters don't.)

5. When he does the dishes, the floor gets more of a wash than the dishes do!

6. He eats vegetables every day, ignoring the vital nutrients that come from chocolate.

7. He stands next to the toilet door while you're in the loo and shouts "BOO!" when you come out.

8. When you stay the night at his house, when you wake up in the morning, all the toys will be clustered round the bed with a note saying "WAKE UP! WE WANT TO PLAY!" Guess who taught them THAT trick?

9. He wears furry socks.

10. His bedroom is not just yellow, it's YELLOW!

11. My Giraffe says so.
